Filtronic is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive profitable reputed company across our European ground reputed company markets.
This role is ideally suited to candidates currently working reputed company major reputed company, defence or SATCOM organisations who are looking to take on a more autonomous, commercially driven role with greater influence and visibility.
You will reputed company strategic engagement across SATCOM ground infrastructure, teleports, gateways, defence communications systems and non-terrestrial networks (NTN), working directly with leading European reputed company, satellite operators and system integrators.
This is an opportunity to reputed company from a large organisational structure into a high-reputed company role where you can directly shape reputed company, influence product direction and own major customer relationships.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Owning and delivering reputed company, pipeline and margin targets across European ground reputed company markets
- Developing and executing strategic account plans for key European customers and programmes
- Leading early engagement on reputed company SATCOM and defence programmes to secure design wins
- Building senior relationships across engineering, programme, procurement and reputed company functions
- Leading reputed company opportunity capture through multi-phase bid, negotiation and contract award processes
- Navigating reputed company procurement environments typical of major reputed company and government customers
- Providing reputed company into market trends such as:
- High-throughput and reputed company satellite systems
- Gateway and reputed company modernisation
- 5G and non-terrestrial network (NTN) integration
- Secure and defence communications infrastructure
Requirements

- Previous experience gained with major organisations and reputed company reputed company reputed company reputed company
- Proven reputed company record in business development, capture management, technical sales or strategic account leadership
- Experience working on reputed company, long-cycle reputed company, defence or SATCOM programmes
- Strong understanding of RF, microwave or communications systems (ground reputed company experience highly desirable)
- Experience engaging with multi-stakeholder organisations, including engineering, procurement and programme teams
- Commercially astute with the ability to structure and reputed company high-value deals
- Established network reputed company the European SATCOM or defence ecosystem is highly advantageous
- Degree in Engineering, Physics or reputed company discipline (MBA or reputed company training advantageous) or relevant working experience
- Willingness to travel across Europe and eligible for UK reputed company clearance
