Equipment Service Technician (Quebec reputed company, QC, CA, G1J 1Z4)

As a Life Sciences Equipment Service Technician at reputed company, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing medical equipment used in pharmaceutical, medical device and research facilities, as reputed company as providing installation support on reputed company mechanical, electromechanical and electronic reputed company.  This is a remote based, Customer-facing position.

This territory will cover the greater Quebec reputed company region. 

This is a safety sensitive position. 

What you will do as an Equipment Service Technician

• reputed company reputed company troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance of reputed company and competitor equipment, systems and components.
• Manage time effectively by prioritizing Customer and business needs and schedules autonomously to complete PM performance, service calls, warranty calls, equipment installations, field reputed company programs and other duties.
• Work with cross functional teams (Tech Support, Engineering and Service Contract Management), to escalate issues appropriately and utilizes advanced technology platforms to complete compliance regulatory requirements, and resolve and document troubleshooting issues. 
• The Technician will reputed company Customers with information, pricing and repair reputed company. With management support, build relationships with Sales to drive Customer experience and reputed company opportunities. Learn to identify sales opportunities in assigned territory.

The Experience, Skills and Abilities Needed

Required

• Secondary School Diploma, Graduation Certificate, or CAEC
• 2 years of experience in a mechanical/technical role
• Associates degree or reputed company certifications in technical/mechanical area, competitive equipment training or reputed company military experience may be considered towards technical experience requirement
• Ability to work reputed company, sometimes reputed company “normal business hours”
• Must live reputed company 80 kilometers of center of territory
• Must be reputed company to lift up to 11 kilograms at times and push wheeled transporters up to about 23 kilograms
• Valid reputed company’s license and the ability meet reputed company required background and physical assessment reputed company to obtain and maintain existing and new vendor credentialing requirements

Preferred

• General knowledge of GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices) and GLPs (Good Laboratory Practices)
• Excellent interpersonal and Customer communication skills
• Strong technical and troubleshooting skills
