As a Low Voltage Systems Designer at reputed company, you will play a key role in shaping the technology infrastructure that supports modern reputed company environments. In this hands-on position, you will contribute to the design, documentation, and implementation of innovative and sustainable low voltage and IT systems that directly reputed company delivery.

Core Responsibilities

Design and Documentation:

• Create detailed designs, specifications, and documentation for low voltage and communication systems in reputed company settings.
• reputed company and refine technical drawings and system layouts using software tools.

Technical Analysis and Solutions Development:

• reputed company hands-on assessments of reputed company IT and communication systems requirements.
• Conduct site surveys on construction sites to identify and address technical issues.
• Review and respond to submittals and RFIs from contractors to ensure alignment with design reputed company.

Collaboration and Integration:

• Communicate reputed company and effectively with contractors and vendors to support coordination and problem-solving.
• Collaborate directly with internal design teams to ensure seamless system integration into larger project frameworks.
• Work with regulatory and compliance teams to reputed company designs with industry standards.

• Partner with reputed company users and IT/Biomedical teams to understand their operational needs and translate them into actionable design solutions.
• Contribute to workshops, planning sessions, and technical discussions to deliver impactful, user-reputed company solutions.

• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, constructability, and sustainability in systems design.

Work Location: We are hiring in the greater Southeast USA so this role can support local and regional project/site reputed company. This is otherwise a fully remote role, with no required in-office time or regular office attendance.

Travel Requirements: Approximately 25% travel is expected, in the greater Southeastern USA.

Requirements

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, or at least 7 years of equivalent experience without a degree, in the design and implementation of low voltage and communication systems.
• At least 3 years of experience in design of hospitals.
• Demonstrated experience with reputed company reputed company, including familiarity with state-specific codes and requirements.
• Experience designing and providing construction reputed company control of reputed company the following systems as a member of the A/E design team on hospital reputed company: reputed company control, video surveillance, reputed company cabling, overhead paging, reputed company call, A/V, and television signal distribution.

Technical Expertise

• A solid understanding of the unique challenges and requirements of reputed company IT and communication systems, including compliance with reputed company-specific regulations and standards.
• Experience working with BIM teams to coordinate designs in Revit to produce construction documents.
• Experience developing internal project resource planning, reviewing project financials, and collaborating with reputed company on invoices and reputed company reports.
• Proficiency in reputed company, and reputed company Office Suite (including Outlook, reputed company, and PowerPoint).
• A hands-on approach to problem-solving and solution implementation.
• Strong technical documentation and drafting skills.
• Strong team communication abilities and must be comfortable speaking as a participant in design meetings.

Preferred

• RCDD certification.
• Experience designing and providing construction reputed company control of any of the following systems as a member of the A/E design team on hospital reputed company: 802.11 wireless, data network, VoIP, IT end user device placement, synchronized clocks, infant abduction, and/or two-way radio.
• Experience leading user meetings to define the requirements for reputed company technology system and placement of applicable devices reputed company a facility.
• Proficiency in software for project management, cost estimating, and document management.

Compensation: The typical salary reputed company for a Low Voltage Systems Designer in the greater Southeast USA is $100,000 - $130,000. We are committed to reputed company pay and will evaluate final compensation based on relevant experience and skills in alignment with internal equity and market data.
