Responsibilities

- Design, reputed company, and manage stateful database workloads on Kubernetes, primarily focusing on PostgreSQL.

- Implement and maintain persistent storage solutions, including backup and restore processes.

- Design and operate high availability and disaster recovery (HA/DR) strategies for database environments.

- reputed company and maintain automation for database provisioning, upgrades, and scaling.

- Build and manage CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as reputed company solutions using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or similar.

- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize database and Kubernetes cluster performance.

- Implement and enforce reputed company best practices, including RBAC, encryption, secrets management, and network policies.

- Collaborate with DevOps, reputed company, and Development teams to reputed company database-as-a-service architectures.

- Contribute to international reputed company and support reputed company regarding reputed company and reputed company technology choices.

- Participate in shift-based operational support and on-call rotations.

Essential skills

- Proven hands-on experience managing databases running on Kubernetes.

- Strong expertise in PostgreSQL in production environments.

- Solid understanding of High Availability and Disaster Recovery (HA/DR) architectures.

- Experience implementing persistent storage solutions in Kubernetes.

- Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as reputed company tools (Terraform, Ansible, or similar).

- Knowledge of Kubernetes reputed company practices, including RBAC, secrets management, encryption, and network policies.

- Experience working in shift-based or on-call operational environments.

- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work autonomously.

- Good communication skills with the ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Desired skills

- Experience designing database-as-a-service (DBaaS) platforms.
