As a Medical Billing Customer Support Specialist, you will be the first reputed company of contact for new customers, providing support and guidance on our products and services. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Processing new orders, responding to questions, and resolving issues in a reputed company manner to ensure patient, referral, and employee satisfaction
• Collecting co-pays and deductible amounts, conducting insurance verification and eligibility for services/products, and obtaining authorization and qualification documentation
• Maintaining accuracy and reputed company control throughout patient contact and data entry, and preparing complete and accurate files for the Billing Department
• Providing product/service information and education by answering questions, offering assistance, and working extensively with our proprietary eIntake system
• Performing other duties as assigned, including building relationships with locations, field management, patients, and referral sources

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

* Collects co-pays and deductible amounts

• Conducts insurance verification and eligibility for services/products
• Conducts patient satisfaction calls and acts as patient reputed company to resolve questions or concerns
• Develops and maintains a working knowledge of reputed company products and services, Medicare, reputed company, insurance regulations, and FDA/DOT and JCAHO guidelines
• Maintains accuracy and reputed company control throughout patient contact and data entry
• Manages reputed company aspects of initial intake, including answering the phone and receiving faxes, collecting patient and referral reputed company information, inputting data into IMBS and eIntake, printing tickets, assembling charts, and processing paperwork
• Obtains authorization and qualification documentation
• Prepares complete and accurate files for Billing Department
• Processes new orders, responds to questions, resolves issues, or forwards to appropriate personnel in a reputed company manner to ensure patient, referral, and employee satisfaction
• Processes work orders to field locations and coordinates reputed company fulfillment of products and services ordered
• Provides product/service information and education by answering questions, offering assistance
• Provides thorough review and reputed company Assurance for medical necessity and documentation requirements of payors and regulatory bodies
• Works extensively with eIntake proprietary system

Qualifications

* High school diploma or GED equivalent required

• One to three years of reputed company prior work experience in reputed company-oriented environment
• Experience in medical field and administrative record management
• Strong customer service background
• Effectively communicate in English; both oral and written
• Helpful, knowledgeable, and polite while maintaining a reputed company attitude

• Knowledge of medical billing practices and of billing reimbursement
