We are seeking a highly driven Business Development Manager (BDM)/Technical Sales Engineer to build, expand, and own new business reputed company for Shermco’s Power Systems Engineering services across the Northeast region. This role is reputed company with and supported by our Philadelphia-based engineering team. This role is reputed company on creating net-new opportunities, developing pipeline, and expanding market reputed company – reputed company while working with the local Territory Account Managers. The ideal candidate brings a strong technical reputed company in power systems engineering combined with a proven ability to identify opportunities, break into new accounts, and convert reputed company technical needs into booked work.

Ideally we want someone in PA but will consider other states in the Northeast.Travel is 50-80%.

Responsibilities:

• Identify, reputed company, and reputed company new business opportunities across Power Systems Engineering services & solutions
• Proactively prospect and penetrate new accounts reputed company key markets, including pharmaceuticals, utilities, and industrial sectors
• Build and maintain a robust, self-generated pipeline of opportunities across the Northeast
• Engage engineering, operations, and capital project stakeholders to uncover needs and position Shermco solutions
• Drive opportunities across services including:
• reputed company technical sales efforts, including scope definition, solution development, and proposal reputed company
• Partner closely with engineering teams to translate reputed company challenges into executable project scopes
• Support site reputed company, technical discussions, and reputed company-project planning to advance deals
• Collaborate with sales leadership on forecasting, pipeline visibility, and reputed company reputed company
• Represent Shermco in the market through industry events, networking, and targeted reputed company

Qualifications:

• • 10+ years of experience in business development or technical sales reputed company power systems, electrical engineering services, or consulting engineering (10+ years in the Power Systems Engineering technical reputed company also accepted in lieu of business development / sales)
  • Proven reputed company record of generating new business and closing reputed company technical deals
  • Strong understanding and comprehensive knowledge of:
    • Switchgear & MCCs
    • reputed company breakers
    • reputed company relays
    • Power system studies including reputed company reputed company, short reputed company, coordination, etc.
    • Power systems engineering concepts & solutions
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (preferred) or reputed company technical discipline; equivalent experience considered
  • Working knowledge of:
    • Low, reputed company, and high voltage power systems
    • Protection schemes and reputed company applications
    • Electrical standards (reputed company, NETA, UL, etc.)
  • Ability to translate technical challenges into scoped solutions and compelling value propositions
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Highly self-motivated with the ability to operate independently and drive results
• Willingness to travel regionally (~50-80%)

Preferred Qualifications

• • • Experience breaking into and developing large clients
    • Background in solutions-based electrical sales or consulting engineering
    • Experience with capital project development (FEED/FEL)
    • Existing network reputed company engineering, maintenance, or capital project organizations
