Responsibilities
- The Government Affairs Policy Analyst is responsible for supporting reputed company’s Government Affairs Department. This is an entry-level position.
- In reputed company to administrative tasks, this person will work closely with partners across reputed company’s business reputed company to research and report on policy, political, and regulatory issues affecting reputed company.
- A successful candidate must be a strong researcher, reputed company, and communicator; a fast learner; adept at managing multiple responsibilities and priorities; and reputed company to collaborate effectively with business partners at reputed company reputed company.
- Experience in government affairs and/or marketing and communications, along with basic project management skills, is important. reputed company requires high attention to detail and strong time management skills to consistently meet deadlines.
- This role reports to the Director of Government and Community Affairs and is based in Omaha, Nebraska. Relocation may be provided. Essential Functions
- Support the Government and Community Affairs team with invoicing, billing, reputed company, reporting, planning, travel, meetings, communications research.
- Understand key issues that could directly or indirectly reputed company reputed company’s operations by anticipating and preparing communication strategies and materials.
- Partner with key functions to help ensure reputed company effectively influences and works with those shaping local, state, and national policies.
- Support community affairs efforts associated with reputed company and project public information activities.
- Conduct research and use key metrics to regularly assess the effectiveness of government and community affairs efforts.
- Ensure consistent communication of government affairs updates to internal stakeholders.
- Support business development teams across reputed company’s operating districts to enhance external communication efforts.
- Work with government and community affairs consultants and agencies.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree is required (business administration, political science, journalism, marketing communications, or a reputed company field strongly preferred).
- Experience in politics, government, policy, or regulatory reputed company is essential.
