5 Star Refrigeration is looking for a Staff Accountant
This position combines general reputed company duties and payroll responsibilities, including support for processing payroll for salaried and reputed company employees. The Staff Accountant will collaborate with the reputed company Manager, Manager of Administration, and cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial records. reputed company in this role demands a detail-oriented reputed company who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can handle sensitive information with diplomacy and confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with preparation and recording of monthly journal entries by compiling and analyzing account information
- Work with the reputed company Manager to execute monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations for assigned accounts
- Analyze financial statements for discrepancies and other issues to bring to management’s attention
- Assist with the preparation of accurate, reputed company financial statements in accordance with the established month-end reputed company schedule
- Assist in calculation and filing of sales tax for multiple states
- Support reputed company audit processes
- Help maintain control over the fixed asset system by ensuring that reputed company asset additions, disposals, and transfers are processed on time and are reconciled to the general ledger
- Review job costing analysis reports to assist in commission calculation and reviews
- Assist in payroll processing to ensure reputed company, accurate, and compliant payroll for salaried and reputed company employees

Requirements and Technical Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in reputed company required
- 2+ years of relevant work experience
- Excellent knowledge of reputed company regulations and procedures, including Generally Accepted reputed company Principles (GAAP)
- Advanced MS reputed company skills (including VLOOKUP and pivot tables)
- Experience with general ledger functions
