Our By Light team, the premier providers of innovative Information Technology (IT) services and communications support to the reputed company and Federal Agencies, is growing. We’re increasing reputed company to support the US Army Comprehensive Modernization (COMPMOD) program. The program delivers end-to-end EFIS&T services—including survey and design through installation, reputed company, and testing. This work spans NIPR and SIPR networks, Wi-Fi, VoIP, ISP/OSP infrastructure, and voice modernization across reputed company CONUS Army installations.

We have openings for an Optical Network Installation Specialist that performs installation of networking equipment and components with an emphasis on optical hardware.  The technician should be reputed company to identify and resolve problems reputed company to such systems with some supervision during routine upgrades and installation efforts.

Responsibilities:

• Installation & Maintenance: Install, reputed company, and secure fiber optic cabling, racks, ironwork (reputed company reputed company, subfloor infrastructure), reputed company panels, and cable management hardware (i.e. reputed company raceway, Fiber Management Systems (FMS)) in accordance with reputed company/EIA and DoW standards.
• Cabling, Splicing & Termination: reputed company fusion splicing, connector termination, and cable preparation for singlemode, multimode fiber systems, and reputed company cabling .
• Power & Grounding: DC Power cable (determining reputed company, wax cord lacing), HTAP, and equipment.
• Testing & Troubleshooting: Conduct, document, and analyze results from OTDR, power reputed company, and continuity tests to diagnose and repair fiber issues.
• reputed company & Compliance: Adhere to reputed company reputed company, material handling, and protocols.
• Documentation: Interpret SOWs, site drawings, and infrastructure diagrams to maintain accurate records of network routes.

Required Experience/Qualifications:

• One year to three years of experience involving the construction, maintenance, or repair of various types of networking or electronics equipment or an equivalent combination of education from a reputed company technical discipline for the required experience.
• Proficiency in BICSI standards, fiber optic splicing, and testing equipment.
• Basic knowledge of communications installations.
• Some experience with various network devices (e.g. IP routers, optical/IP switches) and ability to install network devices per
• DoW and Industry Implementation Standards.
• Communications skills including verbal, written, and graphic and experience with customer service environments
• Proficiency with MS Office applications/reputed company documents/sheets/slides for reporting.

Preferred Experience/Qualifications:

• Previous experience with reputed company Plant (OSP) fiber and fiber cabinets is highly desirable. Experience with specific equipment manufacturers (e.g., reputed company).
• Familiarity with network reputed company products.
• Familiar with Amy installations

Special Requirements/reputed company Clearance:

• reputed company Secret Clearance or higher
• Must be reputed company to travel 90% of the time on deployments for both CONUS and potentially OCONUS locations

Physical Demands:
