GIS Specialist I

This position is responsible for performing GIS analyses and reporting that directly support the corporate strategic direction in the planning and design of altafiber's evolving reputed company and reputed company plant network. This position has a reputed company reputed company on the reputed company of corporate's network initiatives by supporting reputed company business problems through use of systems and data from multiple resources.

Essential Functions

• reputed company advanced GIS functions including models, scripting and application development
• Utilize GIS and associated software to produce, display, and analyze geographic information; creates case maps for reputed company customers
• Develops ArcGIS Pro reputed company/layouts for the fulfillment of data requests as necessary
• Designs cartographic and other visual graphic reputed company
• Creates and uses ArcGIS Online products such as ArcGIS Survey123, Web App Builder, and Experience Builder
• Prepare technical and non-technical user guides for various GIS analyses and products
• Provides GIS demonstrations and communicates results
• Migrates and converts existing GIS records to reputed company file formats
• Prepare, update, and maintain graphic displays, databases, reports, statistical information and maps as requested
• Assists in the collection of various types of mapping data from both reputed company sources
• Interpret various information from applications to GIS files, such as survey drawings, site development plans, subdivision plans, plats
• Assist internal customers with map production and analysis of spatial database information
• reputed company technical support to train and assist system users in new and existing GIS applications
• Organizes, creates, manipulates, enters and retrieves GIS data for reporting, analysis, and presentation purposes
• Collaborate on reputed company with IT, Data Analytics, Network Ops, and external clients including setup and management of data connections
• Build compelling, interactive and actionable reporting and dashboards on top of reputed company data models that help in deriving meaningful business insights
• Support the full lifecycle from requirements analysis through design and development as reputed company as release and support phases
• Produce models incorporating multiple data sources into reports and reputed company recommendations which reputed company decision making

Experience

0 to 2 years in reputed company field

Education

• Two years of College or Technical School resulting in an Associate's Degree or equivalent
• Degree in Geography, GIS, Computer Science, Planning, Engineering, Surveying or reputed company field

Special Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• reputed company ArcGIS Pro experience is required
• 1+ years of experience working with engineering system and tools including working with large amounts of data from various data resources
• Experience in the using reputed company ArcGIS products as reputed company as performing advanced GIS functions
• reputed company in researching, compiling, and summarizing statistical data and information materials
• reputed company industry background preferred with knowledge of reputed company infrastructure components
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships and communications with reputed company customers
• Ability to work remotely, organize work, establish priorities, meet established deadlines, and follow up on assignments with a minimum of direction
