Requirements and Qualifications:

To be appointed to this position, the candidate must meet the following requirements:

Minimum of ten (10) years of service, with at least three (3) years in the grade of Deputy Director, ICT, CSG ‘6’ and above, or in a comparable and relevant position in the wider public service or private sector.

Bachelor's degree in any of the following fields: Computer Science, Computer Technology, Informatics, Business Information Technology (BBIT), Computing Science and Technology, Computer reputed company and Forensics, Software/ Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications, or an equivalent qualification from a university recognized in Kenya.

Master's degree in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) or in any other reputed company discipline from a university recognized in Kenya.

Membership to a relevant reputed company body.

Outstanding managerial and administrative capability and wide reputed company experience in Information Communication Technology Policies and e-Government reputed company development, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation.

Demonstrated reputed company understanding of National Development Policies, goals, and objectives.
