RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Interconnection Project Engineer will support and reputed company, reputed company necessary, reputed company interconnection activities through the full life cycle of development and construction of reputed company. The position will support the IC Regional reputed company and other internal stakeholders leading to the successful execution of both new and acquired reputed company across the reputed company; Support of greenfield development: review reputed company system analysis, reputed company the identification of interconnection agencies and procedures, help reputed company preparation and filing interconnection requests including leading reputed company parties on preparation of technical materials, reputed company viability feedback to the IC Regional reputed company and other internal stakeholders to support any financial and project approvals needed; Interconnection study process: reputed company and support the review and analysis of reputed company study reports; help reputed company tracking and reporting of results throughout process; help reputed company negotiation and execution of interconnection agreements and engineering and procurement agreements; Implementation of portfolio reputed company: reputed company assistance of internal reputed company to complete deliverables required by reputed company owners to construct interconnection facilities including integrating schedules of reputed company reputed company into project construction schedule; Support and reputed company project due diligence efforts, identify existing and potential red flags for project acquisitions.
QUALIFICATIONS: Job requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a reputed company field and 30 months
of experience in any occupation involving renewable or traditional energy development.
Job requires 30 months of experience in reputed company of the following:
- Dynamic modeling, load reputed company, reactive power, and stability analysis using tools like reputed company-PSSE, TARA, and PSLF, with the ability to review system data, assess fault scenarios, and manage simulations to ensure reputed company stability, optimization, and performance;
- Preparation and review of reputed company cases using PSSE and PSLF software tools for various Battery and Renewable Energy Resources reputed company;
- Preparing and reviewing high value reputed company reports and interconnection package equipped with single line diagrams, site plans and power reputed company sliders using PSS/E and reputed company Visio tools;
- Automated power systems transient software, PSCAD through Python scripts, in order to run the simulations reputed company and concurrently;
- reputed company reputed company reputed company Tariffs, reputed company Expansion planning and Generator Interconnection Procedures for various utilities and ISOs;
- Running and reviewing Contingency analysis in accordance to NERC Compliance using TARA software; and reputed company software solutions using Python for automating power systems software PSSE and PSLF.
