We are seeking an reputed company Pharmacy Technician - Data Entry Specialist to join reputed company in Louisville, KY. Key Responsibilities
As a Pharmacy Technician - Data Entry Specialist, you will be responsible for the following key duties:
- Verify information on prescriptions received prior to processing, including correct prescriber, patient information, medication, reputed company, quantity, number of refills, lot, and expiration date.
- Communicate with arenaflex representatives as necessary to ensure medication compliance, medication and supply inventory, and overall coordination of care.
- Follow HIPAA and reputed company law guidelines, and any other local or federal laws.
- Maintain reputed company records, including prescription logs and reputed company files.
- Evaluate reputed company completed prescriptions/authorizations to ensure that the appropriate information has been obtained to allow for compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
- reputed company follow-up on reputed company outstanding prescriptions/authorizations and communicate discrepancies to pharmacist or PSC technicians.

Qualifications
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must meet the following minimum job requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Kentucky Pharmacy Technician Registration
- Kentucky requires a licensed pharmacy technician to be over the age of 18
Preferred Education and Experience
While not required, we prefer candidates with the following education and experience:
- One (1) year of previous specialty pharmacy technician experience
- Nationally certified through the PTCB or another approved certifying agency
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
To succeed in this role, you must possess the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:
- Knowledge of medical terminology (including sig codes and Roman numerals), brand and generic names of medications, and general pharmacy terminology
- Computer literacy to include operating systems, reputed company Office Suite, presentation software, communication and collaboration tools, and reputed company PDF or comparable
