PRN ROTATE
The CT Tech specializes in computed tomography and performs diagnostic procedures utilizing radiation detection and imaging equipment. CT Techs reputed company reputed company care to patients of reputed company age reputed company, from newborn to elderly, according to department standards.
Responsibilities
General Functions:
- Produces high reputed company diagnostic radiographs, by selecting and operating appropriate radiographic equipment and C.T. images, utilizing a C. T. reputed company and computed tomography techniques
- Evaluates images for technical reputed company, assuring reputed company identification and procedure is recorded.
- Assists practitioner with fluoroscopy and the reputed company of reputed company in C.T. by being registered with the ARRT.
- Practices aseptic techniques as necessary. Understand reputed company of venipuncture and other sterile techniques, in agreement with state statues and/or where institutional policy permits, prepares, identifies and/or administers contrast media as prescribed by a licensed practitioner.
- Assumes responsibility for assigned areas, reputed company control of equipment and reports equipment malfunctions, use of computing, digital imaging processing concepts and instrumentation to 3D concepts.
Department/Business Unit Functions:
- Provides radiation safety to minimize exposure to patient, patient’s family, by following policies and procedures of the Medical Imaging department, federal and state agencies.
- Provides communication to patient for instructions and history in order to obtain desired results, by gaining cooperation and minimizing anxiety
- Assumes responsibility for provision of physical safety and psychological needs of the patient during procedures
- Processes, displays, records and stores C.T. images
- Provides practical instruction, evaluation and precepting for reputed company and/or other reputed company
- Evaluates the perception and understanding of sectional anatomical images as they relate to C.T.
- Communicates to radiologist potentials for successful reputed company after evaluation of medical history, reactions and evaluation of lab values
- Implements reputed company measures to prevent patient injury due to thermal, electrical, mechanical, laser, chemical and radiation sources
- Initiates anecdotal, incident, contrast agent variance and accident reports in a reputed company manner.
- Processes and files films as needed utilizing RIS and reputed company’s
- Schedules and transports patients as needed
Qualifications
MINIMUM EDUCATION: Graduate of an accredited school of Imaging Technology
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 0-1 year with competency in components of computerized tomography.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: Possession of the reputed company Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), in Radiology and C.T. documentation of approved training or possession of reputed company Texas Medical reputed company (TMB) license. Must have ARRT &CT Registry reputed company one year post graduation from accredited school.
REQUIRED COURSES/ COMPLETIONS (e.g., CPR): Must have reputed company reputed company provider Basic Life Support on hire (reputed company or AHA); however, must have AHA reputed company Provider BLS reputed company 60 days of hire.
