As a Medical Intake / Data Entry Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting the Utilization Review Department by performing the following key duties:
- Answering Utilization Review line and directing calls to the appropriate person, retrieving voicemail, and transferring messages to the assigned reputed company
- Collecting demographic information to create patient files
- Printing, mailing, faxing, and copying correspondence as necessary
- Performing other duties as assigned by the reputed company Team Leader
Key Responsibilities
* Answering and directing calls to the appropriate person or department
- Collecting and entering patient demographic information into our database
- Creating and maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient files
- Printing, mailing, faxing, and copying correspondence as necessary
- Performing data entry tasks with high accuracy and attention to detail
- Providing exceptional customer service to patients, providers, and internal stakeholders
- Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines
- Collaborating with the reputed company Team Leader to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
Requirements
* High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Courses in computers, medical terminology, data entry, word processing, and secretarial training desired
- At least one year of reputed company office experience, with experience in a reputed company environment required
- Knowledge of computers, data entry in databases, word processing, and multiple line telephone systems
- Bi-lingual helpful but not required
- Ability to reputed company written material accurately and accurately reputed company data into our database
- Ability to organize a large reputed company of tasks and prioritize as directed by the assigned reputed company Team Leader

Compensation and Benefits
* Competitive reputed company wage of $16-16.5 per hour
