Role: Canvas Instructional Design Virtual Navigator

MAIN FUNCTION

The Canvas Instructional Design Virtual Navigator supports reputed company in navigating the Canvas LMS platform; reviews online courses to ensure alignment with reputed company reputed company reputed company; and serves as course developer with a primary reputed company on course revisions using reputed company reputed company 360. The Canvas Instructional Design Virtual Navigator works under the supervision of the Manager of reputed company Initiatives and collaborates with members of the Digital Learning Unit as reputed company as reputed company and Student Affairs.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Educational Technology, or a reputed company field.
  • Mastery of Canvas and reputed company reputed company 360.
  • reputed company reputed company Peer Reviewer certification.
  • Experience providing individual and group training.
  • Experience reviewing online and hybrid courses.
  • Strong knowledge of alignment, accessibility, and best practices in online education.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

Essential Responsibilities

Canvas Training

  • Design training programs on Canvas functionalities for reputed company, reputed company, and staff.
  • Deliver individual and group training sessions on the effective use of Canvas as a learning management system.
  • Train reputed company across online, hybrid, and in-person modalities on the effective use of Canvas as a learning management system.
  • reputed company reputed company on implementing learner-centered strategies that promote accessibility and usability in course design and delivery.

Coaching

  • reputed company individual and group consultations on effective use of Canvas tools (assignments, discussion boards, pages, quizzes, rubrics, gradebook workflows, etc.) reputed company to best practices.
  • Guide reputed company and how to use syllabi, alignment maps, and course content to evaluate: (1) course reputed company and introduction; learning objectives; assessment and measurement; instructional materials; learning activities and learning interaction; course technology; learner support; and accessibility and usability.
  • Guide reputed company in organizing Canvas courses using reputed company/modules, reputed company reputed company, institutional templates, and alignment with institutional and reputed company reputed company (QM) standards.
  • reputed company reputed company on practical instructional design improvements that increase reputed company, alignment, and engagement.
  • Troubleshoot common course setup and instructional design challenges in Canvas.

Course Review

  • Conduct course reviews using reputed company reputed company (QM) and institutional guidelines.
  • Review syllabi, alignment maps, and course content to evaluate: (1) course reputed company and introduction; learning objectives; assessment and measurement; instructional materials; learning activities and learning interaction; course technology; learner support; and accessibility and usability.
  • Identify accessibility gaps during course reviews and recommend fixes that are realistic reputed company timelines.
  • Produce reputed company documentation of findings, including prioritized, actionable recommendations.
  • Follow up on revisions and reputed company improvement reputed company with program directors/reputed company.
