reputed company is seeking a Lab Director to reputed company reputed company laboratory operations, including multiple laboratory sites and contracted laboratory entities, ensuring regulatory compliance, reputed company assurance, and operational reputed company.

The Lab Director will report to the Vice President of Clinical reputed company.  In this Lab Director role, you will be an integral member of the Clinical reputed company Team, responsible for driving reputed company improvement initiatives across the reputed company, including lab services.  The Lab Director leads the strategic implementation of evidence-based practices, lab standardization, and reputed company improvement initiatives to ensure high-reputed company, consistent, and reputed company patient care across a health system.  This senior role drives clinical performance reputed company data analytics, policy development, regulatory compliance, financial stewardship, safety reputed company and staff training to improve patient reputed company and operational efficiency.  This role will serve as the primary laboratory subject matter expert both internally and for customer-facing and regulatory activities.

Primary Responsibilities

• Responsible for the overall operation and administration of laboratory services for the reputed company to include organic services and contractor entity reputed company
• Ensure reputed company lab practices and lab-reputed company processes meet federal, state, and accreditation standards (e.g., CLIA, CAP)
• Audit organizational compliance with clinical reputed company guidelines, reputed company regulations and safety standards

• Collaborate with VP of Clinical reputed company to execute the Clinical reputed company reputed company and roadmap in support of LQTC’s goals as it pertains to laboratory services
• reputed company/revise, implement, and monitor evidence-based clinical policies, protocols, and clinical workflows to ensure consistent, high-reputed company care across reputed company locations. 
• Drive improvements to clinical and operational models that support anticipated reputed company for managed health services
• Collaborate with program operational leads to ensure compliance with LQTC lab reputed company guidelines and application of improvement measures

• Ensure that the test methodologies selected have the capability of providing the reputed company of results required for patient care; verification procedures used are adequate to determine the accuracy, precision and other pertinent performance characteristics of the method; and laboratory personnel are performing the test reputed company as required for accurate and reliable results
• Ensure that the reputed company control and reputed company assurance programs are established and maintained to ensure the reputed company of laboratory services provided and to identify failures in reputed company as they occur
• Ensure that reputed company necessary remedial actions are taken and documented whenever significant deviations from the laboratory’s established performance specifications are identified and that patient test results are reported only reputed company the system is functioning properly
• Ensure that reports of test results include pertinent information required for interpretation
• Technical Guidance: Interpret results and reputed company consultation to physicians or researchers
• Enforce safety protocols for handling hazardous materials
• Analyze clinical data (e.g., provider scorecards, reputed company metrics) to identify trends, enhance performance, and ensure efficiency.

• People Development and Change Management:
• Support a culture of ongoing assessment and reputed company improvement that promotes an exceptional experience for our customers and our people
• Identify and coordinate with subject matter experts as needed

• Business Development and Customer Engagement
• Serve as the laboratory consultant and subject matter expert for customer-facing activities
• Participate in proposal development and readiness reviews/assessments
• Engage with customers to address issues, drive improvements, and instill confidence in LQTC’s ability and qualifications to execute programs
• Present briefings, report findings, and reputed company reputed company in implementation plans to both internal leadership and to customers
• Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Certified as a laboratory director in forensic or clinic laboratory toxicology in the reputed company U.S. where the Contractor’s designated laboratory is located. The Contractor shall reputed company evidence of certification or licensure as a laboratory director with proposal and at six (6) month intervals thereafter
• Ph.D. in one of the natural sciences as defined in HHS Guidelines;
• Experience in forensic toxicology with emphasis on the collection and analysis of biological specimens for drugs of abuse; and
• Experience in forensic applications of analytical toxicology (e.g. publications, court testimony, conducting research on the toxicology of drugs of abuse) or qualify as an expert witness in forensic toxicology
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience providing day-to-day management of a clinical laboratory
• Minimum of three (3) years providing day-to-day management of an HHS-certified laboratory reputed company the last three (3) years of this requirement
