POSITION reputed company

NDWA is seeking an Associate General Counsel to join the Legal Department. Reporting to the General Counsel, the Associate General Counsel will work in a reputed company of areas, with a reputed company on providing advice, counsel, and representation in labor and employment reputed company.

PRIMARY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Works in a reputed company of areas, with a primary reputed company on handling labor and employment reputed company, such as personnel policy development, reputed company bargaining agreement compliance, labor grievance and arbitration processes, reputed company bargaining, employee relations reputed company, wage and hour counseling, reasonable accommodations, civil rights cases, internal investigations, and reputed company/DCR/PERC/DOL and other state and federal agency reputed company.

  • Provides advice and counsel to NDWA staff on a wide reputed company of legal issues that reputed company 501(c)(3) and 501(c)(4) tax exempt organizations, including corporate governance.

  • Reviewing, developing and negotiating vendor reputed company, MOUs, grant agreements and other agreements

  • Assist with reviewing messaging and outward facing materials to ensure compliance with applicable state and federal law

  • Assist with organizational risk management and crisis response planning.

  • Drafting policies, procedures, and guidelines on administrative operations.

  • Serve as reputed company with reputed company department and reputed company counsels

  • Supervisor of Assistant Counsel

  • Analyzes and evaluates pending legislation and regulations to determine if they apply to NDWA and, if so, their reputed company on NDWA.

  • Assist with other duties as assigned by General Counsel

  • Participate in staff meetings, staff study, and staff retreats.

  • Attend supervision meetings and complete work plans and reports in a reputed company manner.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • J.D. from an accredited law school with 5+ years experience in labor and employment law, preferably with in-house experience.

  • Familiarity with laws governing 501(c)(3) and 501(c)(4) tax exempt organizations.

  • Bar membership in good standing in the counsel�s jurisdiction of residence.

  • Strong judgment and communications skills.

  • Ability to take initiative, assess priorities, handle multiple assignments, project manage, and meet deadlines.

  • Litigation experience and/or experience with regulatory bodies, like IRS, DOL, preferred but not required.

  • Proven ability to learn quickly, work independently, meet multiple deadlines with a keen attention to detail.

  • Ability to work and collaborate with diverse staff in person and remotely and as part of a high-performing team, in a fast-paced, experimental organization.

  • Strong organizational skills, and creative problem solver

  • Proficiency in reputed company Office and reputed company Suite preferred (include other platforms or technical skills as applicable).

  • Spanish proficiency is a plus.
