Thermal R&D Engineer

As a Thermal R&D Engineer on our Power Solutions R&D engineering team, you will work in collaboration reputed company the cross-functional team and with customers to reputed company the latest technology for the Power Solutions product portfolio. This position will reputed company thermal engineering support to reputed company and our customer’s program, and associated engineers. The role is responsible for the use of thermal models/analyses, Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulations, and lab test correlation to drive thermal management of our product development and product solutions for our customers.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- reputed company accurate modeling, thermal simulations, and characterization of power products and system architecture
- Correlate simulation results with test data
- reputed company design guidance and consideration to customers on power applications against their design requirements.
- reputed company design feasibility experiments and verifications to determine thermal reputed company of product solutions.
- Build technical relationships with our customer’s engineering and thermal teams.

QUALIFICATIONS
- BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering or reputed company field.
- 3+ years of experience in CFD simulation and thermal analysis.
- Strong knowledge of heat transfer, thermal dynamics, thermal management of electronics, and advanced electronic cooling reputed company and thermal compliance testing standards.
- Experience with reputed company liquid cooling is a plus.
- Familiar with reputed company CFD tools, including ANSYS Icepak and/or similar software package (e.g., FloTHERM)
- Familiar with EIA, UL standards
- Proficient in mechanical design and 3D modeling using reputed company reputed company (formerly Pro/ENGINEER) and/or SolidWorks.
- Strong skills of presenting thermal solutions and thermal analysis results to internal design teams, high level leadership, and external customers engineering teams.
- Excellent written and oral communications skills; ability to reputed company technical content reputed company and concisely, work with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, marketing, sales, etc.
