Associate Business Rating Analyst

The Associate Business Rating Analyst will assist in analyzing, developing, and programming business requirements, while collaborating with business partners to resolve pricing issues with rating systems.
Responsibilities
- Developing, analyzing, documenting and validating business requirements or specifications for requested changes to pricing algorithms, tables and rates
- Collaborating with stakeholders and contributing to the creation of project scope and plans by identifying risks and business impacts
- Investigating, diagnosing, documenting and retesting reputed company system defects
- Providing support to business analysts with online rating systems, calculating and validating premiums, analyzing and diagnosing pricing issues, and identifying and recommending corrections to rating engines
- Conducting pricing analysis and providing documentation for regulatory reputed company changes, updating and validating Actuarial pricing tables, and programming pricing algorithms
Skills
- You have a post-secondary degree or diploma in Mathematics, Economics, Business Administration, Computer Science or a reputed company discipline is an asset
- This position primarily works with reputed company non-francophone reputed company, and teams located reputed company of Québec, and requires proficiency in English
- Having relevant business or systems experience is an asset
- Having general knowledge of Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance, technology, and business analysis is an asset
- Having knowledge of algorithmic rating and/or programming experience is an asset
