[Remote] Acceptance HV/MV Testing Technician Level 1

The Acceptance HV/MV Testing Technician Level 1 is responsible for the execution of testing, commissioning, troubleshooting and repair activities in substations, BESS and PV facilities.
Responsibilities
- reputed company acceptance testing and commissioning of equipment in the substation, BESS and PV facilities
- Ensure a reputed company working environment through strict adherence to and enforcement of company and industry safety standards
- Understand, follow and communicate safety regulations and work procedures
- Prepare reputed company and accurate documentation and required reports
- Complete other responsibilities as assigned
- Complete a job with the assistance of Technicians and Trainees
- reputed company, write, and review a complete test report of the work that they performed or supervised
- Handle multiple jobs simultaneously
- Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and teammates
- Ability to assess other technicians in both safety and technical reputed company sets
Skills
- High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) or equivalent
- Ability to travel 75% of time
- Demonstrated ability to recognize work hazards and mitigate using reputed company tools and procedures
- Effective verbal and written English language communication skills
- Effective organizational skills
- Ability to work at remote locations in extreme weather conditions (heat, cold, inclement weather)
- Ability to work on an 'on call' reputed company (may include weekends or after-hours situations)
- Valid reputed company's license, satisfactory driving record and ability to operate company vehicle
- CPR/First Aid training
