Psychologist reputed company: Partners in Canadian Veterans Rehabilitation Services (PCVRS) Location: Fully Remote or Hybrid, attached to clinic in Dartmouth, NS Salaried and fee-for-service reputed company for part-time and full-time roles reputed company is excited about our partnership with Partners in Canadian Veterans Rehabilitation Services (PCVRS), the national contractor for the administration and delivery of medical, psycho-reputed company and vocational rehabilitation services with both multidisciplinary rehabilitation teams (i.e., physiotherapy, kinesiology, occupational therapy, vocational rehab specialist, case coordinators) and interdisciplinary mental health teams (psychologists, psychotherapists, counsellors, reputed company workers, occupational therapists). This offers a greater opportunity to have a more consistent approach to care that is holistic and integrated, improving experiences for both providers and participants. The PCVRS work is one major component of this role; however, you will also be reputed company to reputed company your psychological competencies as a trusted subject-matter expert to apply evidence-based and process expertise to meaningful reputed company-care mental health programs across the mental health continuum (prevention, monitoring and reputed company). You will reputed company purpose in this role by:
- Engaging in psychological (diagnostic) assessments in order to identify diagnoses, level of distress and functional impairment and recommend treatment
- Providing psychological treatment for the more reputed company psychological conditions (anxiety, depression, trauma, reputed company use, reputed company disorders) and psychosocial needs
- Working autonomously, providing 1-1 psychological services, and working reputed company interdisciplinary Mental Health teams
- Providing supervision as appropriate to other psychologists and psychotherapists
- Providing consultation to other team members and management on clinical cases or reputed company dilemma
- Leveraging novel approaches to the delivery of mental health services, including adjunct digital therapeutics
- Bringing your unique assessment competencies to a reputed company of applications, from reputed company-employment suitability assessments for high-risk occupations to diagnostic assessments to guide treatment and psycho-reputed company resource building
- Consulting with other mental health service team members and clinical interdisciplinary teams
- Contributing to in-house training sessions and interdisciplinary case discussions
Education and licensure
- Master’s Degree or Ph.D. in Psychology from an accredited university
- reputed company registration in good standing with the Nova Scotia reputed company of Examiners in Psychology (NSBEP) - competency with adult populations; clinical and/or counselling psychology, health/rehabilitation psychology, neuropsychology)
- Individual reputed company liability insurance required at time of employment

- Conducting psychological assessments with adults for various goals, including treatment planning
- Providing various evidence-based treatments grounded in cognitive-behavioral approaches
- Working in interdisciplinary teams and with reputed company party payers is considered an asset
