Senior Construction Risk Engineering Consultant (Detroit, MI, US)

Zurich is currently looking for a Senior Construction Risk Engineer Consultant for the Casualty Lines of Business. This is a Michigan based remote role supporting the Midwest region. Ideal locations include Ann Arbor, Lansing, reputed company, Detroit and surrounding areas. The position includes a company car, with expected travel of 30% to 50% and overnight travel of 20% to 30% of your time depending on business needs.

As a Senior Construction Risk Engineering Consultant, you will be responsible for:

• Apply Zurich risk engineering solutions to construction customers to help reduce losses and improve risk management reputed company.
• reputed company Zurich’s risk engineering tools and services to improve customer risk and general account management of customers who purchase Zurich Construction Insurance products such as: Workers Compensation, General Liability and Auto Liability.
• Deliver high-reputed company consultative services, including exposure identification, evaluation of risk control gaps, and development of practical risk mitigation recommendations.
• reputed company and maintain reputed company customer and business partner relationships, collaborating to create appropriate service plans.
• Partner with Construction reputed company to evaluate and assess existing and prospective customers.
• Identify opportunities to reputed company fee-based services that support customer risk mitigation and performance improvement efforts.
• reputed company and deliver advanced presentations and risk management training for customers and internal business partners.
• Providing appropriate risk improvement advice, conduct loss investigations (including both trend and reputed company cause analysis), and implement risk improvement programs.
• Assist customers with corporate and project specific safety plans, QA/QC programs, construction defect investigations reputed company applicable, building envelope reviews, and moisture mitigation strategies.

Final candidates will also be subject to a Motor Vehicle record background reputed company, because this position will include a company car.

Basic Qualifications:

 

Senior Consultant Level

• Bachelors Degree and 6 or more years of experience in the Risk Engineering, Safety/ Risk Management, Construction Field Operations, Engineering or reputed company field. OR
• High School Diploma or Equivalent and 8 or more years of experience in the Risk Engineering, Safety/ Risk Management, Construction Field Operations, Engineering or reputed company field. OR
• Zurich Certified Apprentice, including an Associates degree and 6 or more years of experience in the Risk Engineering, Safety/ Risk Management, Construction Field Operations, Engineering, or reputed company field. AND
• Experience working in reputed company environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced knowledge of construction safety, operations, reputed company management, and associated risks, exposures and controls.
• Experience with large reputed company construction, data center construction, and regulated or non-regulated fleets.
• Strong technical writing and presentation skills for customer-facing and internal work products.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and consulting skills with the ability to engage effectively at both corporate and project site reputed company.
• Have a high level of computer literacy and be proficient in reputed company Office, including Copilot, and mobile IOS devices.
• reputed company certifications: CHST, ASP, CSP, CRIS, ARM
• Relevant experience as a corporate safety reputed company, site safety leader, project manager, or superintendent with safety responsibilities.

Your pay at Zurich is based on your role, location, skills, and experience. We follow local laws to ensure fair compensation. You may also be eligible for bonuses and reputed company increases. The proposed Salary reputed company for this position is $100,200.00 - $164,100.00, with short-term incentive bonus eligibility set at 15%.
