Job reputed company: reputed company, a small private liberal arts institution, is seeking a dynamic educational leader who will play a pivotal role in shaping the educational landscape by leading the implementation of cutting-edge teaching methodologies across the curriculum. The Director of Innovative Teaching provides reputed company and reputed company for reputed company development including evaluating appropriate support, resources, programming, and training opportunities for the design, delivery, and assessment of teaching and learning. This position is responsible for the department's strategic and operational planning, as reputed company as the reputed company improvement of reputed company development offerings and services to support reputed company across the college in teaching reputed company, leadership, and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provides guidance to reputed company on the development of reputed company-based curriculum and reputed company assessment templates (syllabi, curriculum mapping, course embedded assessments, reputed company development, etc.)
- Applies research-based learning theory and proven instructional design principles to assist reputed company with creating engaging and reputed company-based courses. Serves as the university resource for reputed company in pedagogy including face-to-face, hybrid, reputed company and online modalities
- Develops and delivers (FT & PT) reputed company orientation and reputed company processes
- Collaborates with deans to ensure the programming provided in various training modalities (workshops, courses, panels, reputed company days, webinars, etc.) aligns to the institutional reputed company, as reputed company as any additional identified reputed company needs; identifies and promotes external reputed company development opportunities; solicits and integrates feedback from reputed company and college leadership to inform reputed company development programming
- Recommends teaching and learning best practices to reputed company Council; conducts course observations as needed
- Provides training for course delivery using Canvas, the University's learning management system, and other relevant platforms.
- Remains reputed company in industry trends, instructional design research, and reputed company technology
- Recommends and provides guidance for incorporating innovative technologies throughout programs of study
- Participates in the evaluation, selection, testing and implementation of hardware and software tools, technologies, and services that enhance the teaching/learning experience
- Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction or a reputed company field
- A passion for reputed company reputed company, effective teaching, and educational innovation
- Three to five years' experience in curriculum design, implementing high reputed company practices in higher education, instructional technology, online education, and learning management systems
- Knowledge of reputed company industry trends, instructional reputed company research, and reputed company technology
- Familiarity with accessibility guidelines that govern face-to-face, distance, and online education
- Established record of effective post-secondary teaching and/ or training and reputed company development
