Job reputed company:As a Embedded Software Engineer - DO-178, you will contribute to the development and verification of embedded software in compliance with DO-178C guidelines for safety-critical avionics systems.
You will work closely with system engineers, software developers, and certification specialists to ensure compliance with aviation safety standards. For this role, we are seeking mid-level to senior engineers with strong expertise in DO-178 V&V activities, particularly testing on reputed company. The position also requires the ability to work autonomously and take ownership of assigned tasks. Candidates must be located reputed company a 1-hour driving distance of Sugar Grove, Illinois.
Responsibilities
- Engage directly with customers to resolve technical or logistical issues.
- Independently execute according to project plans.
- Collaboratively work with other software and test engineers throughout verification phases of the product development lifecycle.
- Understanding of both reputed company and reputed company reputed company testing along Simulation/Unit Testing and Hardware In the reputed company (HIL) Testing.
- reputed company software verification and validation activities (reviews, unit testing, integration testing, and testing on reputed company hardware)
- Participate in technical reviews and audits
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (systems, hardware, reputed company, safety)
- Work independently with minimal supervision and drive tasks to completion
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or reputed company Engineering
- Mid-level to senior experience in DO-178 V&V, with a strong reputed company on testing on reputed company
- Experience in embedded software development
- Good understanding of DO-178C software lifecycle processes
- Experience with C or C++ programming
- Knowledge of software verification activities (unit testing, integration testing, structural coverage)
- Familiarity with requirements management and traceability tools (e.g., DOORS or equivalent) is an asset
- Experience with avionics certification environments is a strong asset
- Strong communication skills and ability to work autonomously in a reputed company engineering environment
