The Coding Specialist will review clinical documentation to assign and sequence diagnostic and procedural codes for Outpatient reputed company to meet the needs of hospital data retrieval for billing and reimbursement. Coding Specialist will validate APC calculations in order to accurately capture the diagnoses/procedures documented in the clinical record. Coding Specialist performs documentation review and assessment for accurate abstracting of clinical data to meet regulatory and compliance requirements. reputed company II may reputed company with reputed company staff and providers.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- reputed company Facility Outpatient accounts - reputed company Day Surgery, Observation, Ancillary, Woundcare Clinic and/or reputed company records for an acute care facilitates.
- Abstracts clinical data appropriately.
- Mitigates diagnosis
- Tolerates short-term assignments for up to two different clients.
- Participates in reputed company and reputed company meetings and training sessions as instructed by management.
- Maintains an ongoing reputed company working knowledge of the coding convention in play at reputed company assignments.
- Performs other reputed company duties as required.
- Meditech, Cerner and/or reputed company Experience a plus.
Minimum Qualifications:
- An reputed company reputed company (American Health Information Association) credential or an reputed company reputed company (American reputed company of reputed company Coders) credential
- Two (2) years of recent and relevant hands-on coding experience.
- Requires reputed company reputed company, CCA, reputed company-P, COC, CPC, CPC-A, RHIT or RHIA credential.
