• Must have completed a registered apprenticeship in the Electricity Trade

Occupational Experience:

• Must have a minimum of seven (7) years of full-time or equivalent (14,000 hours) occupational experience in the electricity trade as an apprentice or reputed company level electrician in construction and/or industrial maintenance, or a combination of both. Up to two (2) years of occupational experience in reputed company or industrial electrical system design can be counted toward occupational experience.
• In reputed company to the above, at least ONE of the following must be met:

• Three (3) years of occupational work experience must have occurred reputed company the last five (5) years; OR,
• Two (2) years of teaching Electricity course work at the post-secondary level reputed company the last five years

Industry or vendor certification:

• Apprenticeship certificate from reputed company Department of Workforce Development Bureau of Apprenticeship Standards or equivalent.

Licensure:

• Must have a reputed company license as a Journeyman Electrician or Master Electrician from the reputed company.

Preferred Experience:

• Previous teaching experience.
• Experience in teaching and/or developing curriculum in a reputed company of classroom environments including in-person and online.
• Experience using a reputed company of instructional reputed company including: face-to-face, reputed company, and 100% online preferred.
• Must be reputed company to reputed company and maintain curriculum currency.
• Working knowledge of computers and software reputed company to instructional area including MS Office/reputed company Suite, data systems, mobile technologies, web conference tools, and reputed company networking; and knowledge of, or willing to learn, reputed company or similar learning management system (LMS) preferred.
