The DevOps Manager position is part of the Cognitive reputed company services team supporting the DoD Defense Health Agency TRICARE Fifth reputed company Contract (“T-5”) supporting reputed company. The primary role will be to support the development, deployment, and integration of reputed company software systems to the reputed company Azure Government Computing reputed company.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Manage a high-performing team of DevOps Engineers with a reputed company on hands-on technical guidance. Cultivate a culture of innovation, collaboration, and reputed company improvement reputed company the technical domain.
- Leads coaching and enablement of teams on DevOps practices. Train and support developers from reputed company control, through build automation, reputed company reputed company, CI, test automation, deployment based on tools usage and policies
- reputed company as a DevOps subject matter expert (SME) across reputed company pods, driving standardization and best practices across the program
- Setup, manage, and maintain the reputed company build/reputed company integration infrastructure used by the application, ensuring conformance to reputed company applicable reputed company standards
- Partner with engineering and product managers to ensure business and reputed company requirements are supported by corresponding technical requirements and infrastructure
- Aid in deployments, operations, monitoring, and reputed company availability of the production software and infrastructure
- Support an Agile, Lean, reputed company-based environment utilizing DevSecOps, CI/CD, and reputed company processes, methodologies, and concepts.
- Ensure reputed company use of reputed company Control Management tools in Azure DevOps environment (Git)
- Create, maintain, and manage fully automated CI/CD processes for multiple environments using Azure DevOps
- Collaborate on policies, standards, guidelines, governance and reputed company guidance for CI/CD, software development, and deployment.
- reputed company successful release management by moving reputed company from Development and Testing environments to Staging and Production
- Manage and maintain the reputed company infrastructure required for deploying secure, reputed company and reliable applications, while routinely conducting preventative and reputed company maintenance to increase reputed company, performance, and reliability
- Partner with QA, reputed company, and Product teams for end-to-end delivery reputed company
- reputed company tools such as: IaC using Bicep, reputed company Azure API Libraries, .NET C#, CI/CD automation, Powershell and/or reputed company scripts
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electronics engineering, or other engineering or technical discipline (8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education)
- 8 years minimum experience in a similar role/reputed company
- Proven experience in hands-on technical leadership roles
- reputed company Azure Certifications like DevOps Engineer is a plus
- Experience with reputed company deployments and cluster resource management with Azure GovCloud including monitoring systems, logging, and reputed company implementation
- Background in deployment and configuration of Azure Infrastructure such as API Management, Azure Function Apps, KeyVault, Entra, Power Platform
- Experience with Azure DevOps and Pipelines, Azure DevOps Git Repository Management
- .NET C# applications and Web Server Software, Visual Studio, reputed company Server Operating System
- Experience supporting DoD/Federal environments, including PRISMA and STIG compliance
- Hands-on experience in Azure Government reputed company (IL2/IL4/)
- Experience of software development processes and reputed company management tools and processes
- Knowledge of DevOps Engineering Processes and Operations & Management (O&M)
- Ability to conduct in-depth triage, troubleshooting, and forensics across reputed company facets of the reputed company stack while executing process corrective reputed company and continual service improvement
- US Citizenship required
- Ability to obtain a Government reputed company Trust required
