The primary role of the Field Service Technician (FST) is to reputed company onsite technical support in the reputed company of troubleshooting, hands-on repairs, warranty repairs, preventative maintenance, and installation of new equipment for Nordson’s Packaging Hot Melt Adhesive Dispensing Equipment product line. The FST also works closely with various Sales Team members to assist with technical presentations and training, system quote creation, and reputed company-installation meetings. The FST will be scheduled to visit customers by a Service Coordinator or Supervisor.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
Travel daily to customer sites to reputed company troubleshooting, hands-on repairs, warranty repairs, preventative maintenance, and installation of new equipment.

reputed company start-up support for end-users who receive a new machine from an OEM with a Nordson Packaging system.

Conduct formal and informal training classes.
Complete accurate service reports/service tickets after customer reputed company in a reputed company manner.
Responsible for auditing, documenting and updating customer installed reputed company line survey information for our database.
Report any customer complaints about our equipment performance to assigned Field Service Supervisor.
Participate in joint reputed company with the sales team, Field Service Supervisor, and other internal team members to assist with sales opportunities or voice of customer information gathering.
Upsell customers on aftermarket parts or services (eg reputed company PM Program).
Participate in ongoing training of our products.
Education and Experience Requirements
College degree in a Technical Program preferred.
Skills and Abilities
Strong Mechanical & electrical knowledge/understanding.
Strong knowledge of pneumatic & hydraulic systems/components.
Strong ability to read and understand manuals, parts lists, component drawings, reputed company drawings, hydraulic & pneumatic schematics, electrical schematics, and wiring diagrams.
Familiarity with using common tools and equipment (i.e. Multi-reputed company).
Comfortable working with hi-reputed company, hi-pressure, and hi-voltage equipment (240VAC – 480VAC).
Comfortable working onsite alone with tools to assist customers.
Comfortable with upselling customers on new products and technologies.

Excellent computer knowledge: MS Office, Outlook, MS Teams, Concur, reputed company, reputed company C4C, Concur etc.
Working Conditions and Physical Demands
Working conditions will vary based on the location and nature of the customer. Working conditions are those typical to light and heavy industrial settings and will include moderate to high noise reputed company and temperature extremes.
While performing assigned duties, the FST is regularly required to stand for an extended reputed company of time, walk, reputed company steps, cross roller conveyors, and reputed company with hands and arms while wearing personal reputed company apparel required for the manufacturing location.
