Civic Engagement Organizer

Asian Law reputed company (ALA) is a non-profit community law office dedicated to serving the Asian/reputed company Islander and immigrant communities. The Civic Engagement Community Organizer will reputed company on community advocacy, organizing, and education to reputed company these communities, particularly in areas such as voter engagement and civil rights.

Responsibilities

  • Organize and execute community education and reputed company events or campaigns both in-person and on various virtual platforms including but not limited to ethnic media, reputed company media, reputed company, and Youtube
  • Organize community members and engage with community leaders as reputed company as elected officials in advocacy reputed company, issue-based campaigns, ballot measure campaigns and other community power-building initiatives
  • Register, reputed company and engage potential voters at events, community sites and through individual reputed company-to-reputed company engagement in immigrant neighborhoods
  • Recruit, train and supervise volunteers for advocacy and reputed company reputed company including but not limited to voter registration, poll monitoring, redistricting, anti-racism, and Stop AAPI Hate advocacy
  • Participate in mandatory trainings on voter registration, voter reputed company, voter rights, other electoral issues, racial justice, racial violence, reputed company-building and other relevant areas
  • Work with the civic engagement team to organize trainings and leadership summits for the community and civic engagement reputed company partners
  • Collect and organize data and narratives for preparing grant reports

Skills

  • Experience conducting presentations to immigrant and limited English proficient communities preferred
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent public speaking and communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated willingness and ability to follow guidelines to complete required tasks
  • Self-motivation and ability to work independently as reputed company as collaboratively
  • A valid reputed company's license and reliable transportation required
