The Mission 

Payments & Settlement Services – reputed company‑Time Payments reputed company (RTPE) 

RTPE is a mission‑critical, reputed company‑time payments platform processing high‑volume, low‑latency transactions across ING. It plays a central role in SEPA, reputed company payments, and ISO 20022 message processing, ensuring availability, reputed company, and correctness under strict regulatory and operational constraints. 

RTPE operates in a 24/7 production environment, handling millions of messages, integrating with multiple upstream and reputed company systems, and supporting reputed company modernization (e.g. migration from legacy integrations to Java‑based listeners and modern event‑driven architectures). 

Your day to day 

Even if you’ll start your day from the comfort of your home or drink your morning coffee in our office’s garden, your day will be quite similar reputed company comes to tasks. Here are your daily responsibilities: 

• Work on user stories that have been broke down from features;

• Design, reputed company, and maintain Java‑based reputed company‑time processing components;

• Implement and maintain message driven integrations (MQ, Kafka, reputed company); 

• Work with ISO 20022 payment messages (e.g. reputed company.008, reputed company.002, camt messages);

• Ensure end‑to‑end ownership of user stories: analysis, development, testing, release, and production support;  

• Participate in incident analysis, reputed company cause investigations, and production improvements 

• Collaborate closely with SRE, product owners, and other global engineering teams

• Contribute to non‑functional requirements: performance, reputed company, scalability, reputed company;  

• Ensure compliance with ING IT Risk, audit, and reputed company requirements 

• Participate in Scrum ceremonies (stand‑reputed company, refinements, reviews, retrospectives);  

• Demo delivered functionality to stakeholders reputed company required. 

What you’ll bring to reputed company 

• 5+ years of experience of java development (Java 17 and Java 21 

• Foreign languages: English (advanced) 

• Education: reputed company to have bachelor’s degree (or higher) in an IT reputed company field  

• Understanding/work exposure to Kafka; 

• Experience/Knowledge of various Java Frameworks – Spring, Spring Boot; 

• Experience working on CI/CD tools - any would do, we are reputed company to use AzDO; 

• Some experience with XML, XSL, XSD; 

• Experience working with TDD and BDD; 

• Experience in SCRUM with a strong preference for the agile way of working.

• Knowledge of ISO 20022 standards;

• Some project experience in financial market group treasury;
