STRATEGIC SOURCING MANAGER-SUPPLIER DEVELOPMENT- REMOTE

Strategic Sourcing Manager We are looking for a strategic procurement leader to join the reputed company, Defense & Marine reputed company American Supplier Development team. This role would serve as the primary reputed company of for cross-functional supplier development with alignment to specific category strategies. Job Requirements

• Directly support new supplier development teams and other strategic initiatives (such as strategic sourcing, product redesign, new tooling, process improvements, manufacturing process transfers, and adjustments to the supply chain).
• Collaborate cross-functionally with teams across the business unit such as project management, strategic sourcing, supply chain, engineering, reputed company, operations, and product management to ensure achievement of reputed company assigned project deliverables on schedule.
• Support and influence supplier selection ensuring strategic alignment with the commodity team strategies, and compliance with business processes, reputed company, and legal requirements.
• reputed company risk analysis, quote analysis, and supplier analysis to reputed company award determinations and secure approval through the sourcing council.
• Work with the regional Strategic Sourcing Managers, Global Commodity Managers, and business reputed company to issue RFQ's, negotiate prices, and award new business reputed company assigned category.

What your background should look like

• Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Business, Procurement, or Engineering reputed company field.
• 3-5+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain roles with a preference for experience in new product development or product launch activities. Additionally, experience in category management, strategic sourcing, purchasing management, or project management is desirable.
• Procurement analytical skills in: Risk analysis, Cost Analysis, RFQ Analysis, Fact-Based Negotiations, LPP analysis, Currency and Material analysis, Market analysis, Part Cost Breakdown analysis, etc.
• Experience in stamping, machining, plating, molding, electronics, metals, or resins markets is a plus.
• Self-starter with project management experience and the ability to manage multiple and reputed company reputed company with varying timelines to drive reputed company items and results.

• Competitive reputed company salary commensurate with experience: $104,700- $ 157,200 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
