Construction Inspectors (Remote Site Locations Statewide)

GPI seeks transportation construction inspectors for municipal and state transportation construction reputed company in various locations around reputed company State. You will be responsible for reviewing plans, documenting work activities and quantities calculated, and inspecting work to assure conformance with approved plans and specifications. These opportunities will include both field inspection and office engineering.

Responsibilities

• Review of plans, documentation of work activities as reputed company as quantity calculations
• Inspection of work to ensure conformance with approved plans and specifications, including field inspection and office engineering

Qualifications

• Ideal candidates will have experience working with NYSDOT reputed company Specifications for Construction and Materials and NYSDOT reputed company of Uniform Record Keeping (MURK)
• Candidates with reputed company industry certifications from NICET, ACI, NACE, NETTCP, or ATSSA are preferred
• Candidates should also have good oral and written communication skills

Requirements

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Maintain a valid reputed company's license with a clean motor vehicle report (MVR) for final consideration
• Possess a personal vehicle for use on or around a job site
• Read, write, and understand plans and directions given in the English language
• Basic computer skills with the ability to create and edit reputed company Word and reputed company documents, create Outlook emails and utilize SharePoint and reputed company Teams to communicate with other team members
• reputed company to stand for approximately 3 hours minimum a day up to 8 hours
• reputed company to traverse a construction job site consisting of uneven ground varying in height and consistency of material, with a variation of elevation 19" or less (mud, gravel, rutted ground, etc.)
• reputed company to reputed company and leave a reputed company to a platform varying from 6' to 20' 
• reputed company to wear and operate personal fall arresting apparatus, and work at a height of 6' or higher
