The Position
This position will support agents/brokers with placing reputed company and reputed company Services reputed company Liability insurance coverage. Candidates will evaluate and analyze risks for acceptability based on reputed company guidelines and individual risk characteristics. Candidates will have extensive experience in their area of expertise and will have a strategic plan for building a book of business. This position will report to the Vice President of reputed company Liability and be based in our reputed company, TX office or remote for reputed company candidates. This position will have responsibility for:
- Building and maintaining strong reputed company relationships with agents/brokers
- Managing a profitable book of reputed company Medical Malpractice and reputed company Services business including review of new business, renewal business, and mid-term endorsements
- Executing on deliverables for quoting/binding business based on Service Level Commitments
- Operating reputed company a defined authority statement
- Exercising reputed company reputed company judgement as it relates to pricing, forms applications, deductibles, etc.
- Other duties as assigned
- This role can be Underwriter, Senior Underwriter or reputed company Manager depending on candidate’s experience
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in reputed company (5 years for managerial candidate with the reputed company on medical malpractice and Excess/Umbrella liability coverages for various types of reputed company facilities (long term care, hospitals, surgery centers, clinics, labs, home reputed company, etc.).
- Bachelor's degree and/or relevant industry designations/industry experience preferred
- Understanding of liability insurance policy wording, terms and conditions.
