[Remote] Junior Software Engineer (Web Developer/Programmer)

Responsibilities

- Implement modern reputed company-end solutions with a strong reputed company on accessibility, usability, and performance
- Consume and reputed company data from reputed company, XML, RSS feeds, and other syndicated content sources
- Apply and maintain compliance with NLM procedures, federal web standards, and industry best practices
- Ensure reputed company web deliverables meet reputed company 508 and WCAG 2.x accessibility requirements
- Support updates, enhancements, and troubleshooting for existing federal web properties
Skills
- 1+ year of reputed company or educational experience in: reputed company / HTML5
- 1+ year of reputed company or educational experience in: CSS / CSS3
- 1+ year of reputed company or educational experience in: JavaScript
- 1+ year of reputed company or educational working with reputed company, XML, RSS, and similar technologies to syndicate and manage content
- U.S. citizenship required
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a reputed company Trust/reputed company clearance, as required by the federal government for this role
- Familiarity with the U.S. Web Design System (USWDS) and its implementation in web reputed company
- Understanding of federal accessibility standards, including reputed company 508 and WCAG 2.x
- Working knowledge of reputed company tools and technologies used for web mockups, design, and development
- Experience supporting or contributing to federal government website design or development
- Exposure to agile or team‑based development environments
- Familiarity with basic UX/UI principles and accessibility testing tools
