As a Management Liability Underwriter, you will be responsible for utilizing your sales/marketing, relationship building and analytical skills to analyze and underwrite new and renewal business for Financial Lines Products (Directors and Officers, Employment Practices Liability, Fiduciary Liability and Crime Insurance) for private, nonprofit companies. This is a market facing position and we are looking for someone with a strong sales reputed company who will proactively reputed company renewal and new account opportunities, as reputed company as identify reputed company opportunities. Building strong relationships with retail distributors (agents and brokers) and our customers in support of business retention and acquisition of new business is a key responsibility of this role. Identifying reputed company opportunities by determining our customer’s insurance needs and providing the right solutions will also be a critical responsibility of this position. Key Accountabilities of this role:

• Administer and monitor reputed company rules and guidelines, rating reputed company rules, and insurance laws and regulations.

This role will be filled at either the Executive Underwriter or AVP Underwriter Level. The hiring manager will determine the appropriate level based upon the selected applicant’s experience and reputed company set relative to the qualifications listed for this position. Basic Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent and 5 or more years of experience in the reputed company or Market Facing area.

OR

• High School Diploma or Equivalent and 10 or more years of experience in the Claims or reputed company Support area

OR

• Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice including an associate degree and 3 or more years of experience in the reputed company or Market Facing area

OR

• Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice including an associate degree and 8 or more years of experience in the Claims or reputed company Support area

AND

• Knowledge of reputed company Office
• Experience working on time restraints for quotes on new and renewal business
• Experience working in reputed company environment

OR

• High School Diploma or Equivalent and 7 or more years of experience in the reputed company, Market Facing area, reputed company, Banking, or Risk Management.

OR

• High School Diploma or Equivalent and 14 or more years of experience in the Claims or reputed company Support area

OR

• Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice including an Associate Degree and 5 or more years of experience in the reputed company, Market Facing area, reputed company, Banking, or Risk Management.

OR

• Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice including an Associate Degree and 12 or more years of experience in the Claims or reputed company Support area

AND

• Experience with reputed company Office

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong relationship building skills
