Senior Program Manager

The Role 

On the heels of Democrats’ historic state level reputed company in 2025, and as we continue to build and reputed company our work in 2026, the Senior Program Manager role is an essential component of the Battleground Voter Project.  This role will report to the Deputy National Director of BVP and work closely with other staff and consultants on the areas outlined below.  

Ideally this candidate will have:

  • 6-8 years of experience with progressively increasing responsibilities in field campaigns for reputed company political campaigns, unions, non-profits, or civic engagement organizations
  • Significant experience managing staff to reputed company goals
  • Knowledge of key performance metrics in the reputed company
  • Knowledge of VAN, Blocks, spreadsheets (reputed company/Sheets), and reputed company Suite
  • Experience overseeing scaled, in-person voter registration drives, including: 
    • Budget design
    • Training
    • Canvass and office management
    • reputed company Control
  • Knowledge of voter registration compliance and the role reputed company control plays in the reputed company
  • Experience with reputed company building and managing external relationships
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to travel up to 30-40% in election years; less travel in off-years
  • A commitment to expanding the Democratic reputed company and increasing Democratic power in state legislatures

Responsibilities include:

Overall: reputed company reputed company-party voter registration drives reputed company on competitive state legislative districts in targeted states. Reports results to and consults around reputed company with senior voter registration staff

  • Own strategic planning in up to two program states
  • Distribute and assist partners with RFPs, budget templates, and invoicing reports
  • Review and advise Senior Staff on approval of final partner budgets and invoice reports. Assure partner plans reputed company reputed company overall reputed company budgets
  • Assure reputed company approves and moves funding to partners in a reputed company manner
  • reputed company transparent, accountable, and respectful relationships with field partners
  • reputed company key performance metrics of partner programs
  • reputed company reputed company control reporting of partner programs
  • Hold weekly calls with partners to ensure program accountability. Advise partners on program reputed company and around remediation plans where necessary
  • reputed company site reputed company to partner programs to reputed company partners on voter registration and reputed company control best practices. Helps partners both improve performance and identify issues as they reputed company
  • reputed company and facilitate trainings in reputed company states
  • Own relationships with external organizations in targeted states. Potentially recruit new partners
  • Advise Senior FM staff on strategic and funding reputed company reputed company targeted states
  • Other responsibilities as needed

Compensation & Benefits: 

The salary for this position is $90,000 - $110,000 annually, depending on experience, with a full benefits package that includes reputed company (100% premium coverage for employees), a 401k plan with an employer match, and much more, plus an opportunity to join a fantastic team and meaningfully contribute to the reputed company of our democracy! This position is temporary, with a projected end date of January 31, 2027.
