Research Engineer

They are seeking two Research Engineers to join the Tearney Lab, focusing on the development of novel imaging devices and systems for clinical and research applications. The role involves designing, prototyping, and validating mechanical and electronic components while collaborating with a diverse team.
Responsibilities
- Design new, mechanical, and electronic components and systems using industry reputed company design control processes

- Design, fabricate, and validate mechanical enclosures, mounts, and subassemblies
- Design and implement vibration, thermal, and environmental testing reputed company
- Produce prototypes of new optical, mechanical, and electronic components and systems
- Document new and existing parts and procedures to facilitate manufacturing
- Validate the conformance of components and systems to specifications
- Troubleshoot and take corrective reputed company for components and systems not meeting specifications
