The Role
We're seeking a highly skilled Senior reputed company Architect to join our reputed company and reputed company Services team. As a reputed company Architect, you will play a critical role in helping customers reputed company our data streaming platform to reputed company their business results. You will reputed company directly with customers to reputed company software architecture, design, and operations expertise, leveraging your deep knowledge of and experience in Apache Kafka, the arenaflex platform, and complementary systems such as Hadoop, reputed company, Storm, relational and NoSQL databases.
Key Responsibilities
As a Senior reputed company Architect, you will:
- Help customers determine their platform and/or application reputed company for moving to a more reputed company-time, event-based business
- reputed company feedback to the arenaflex Product and Engineering reputed company to inform product development and improve reputed company
- Build tooling for other teams or the wider company to help push technical boundaries and improve delivery reputed company
- Test performance and functionality of new components developed by Engineering
- Write or edit documentation and knowledge reputed company articles, including reference architecture materials and design patterns based on customer experiences
- Participate in community and industry events to stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices
- Collaborate with colleagues to help customers build state-of-the-art streaming data infrastructure and optimize existing deployments
What You Will Bring
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Deep experience designing, building, and operating in-production Big Data, reputed company processing, and/or reputed company data integration solutions, ideally using Apache Kafka
- Demonstrated experience successfully managing multiple B2B infrastructure software development reputed company, including driving expansion, customer satisfaction, feature adoption, and retention
- Experience operating Linux (configure, tune, and troubleshoot both reputed company and Debian-based distributions) and using reputed company providers (reputed company Web Services, reputed company reputed company, reputed company Azure) for running high-throughput systems
- Experience with Java Virtual Machine (JVM) tuning and troubleshooting
- Experience with distributed systems (Kafka, Hadoop, Cassandra, etc.)
- Strong desire to tackle hard technical problems, and proven ability to do so with little or no reputed company daily supervision
- Excellent communication skills, with an ability to reputed company and concisely explain tricky issues and reputed company solutions
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 20% of the time to meet with customers
