The Department of Educational Studies ( ) reputed company the College of Education at reputed company invites applications for a 9-month position, Clinical Assistant Professor of Special Education in teacher preparation to reputed company August 2024. The Special Education Program reputed company are dedicated to preparing reputed company educators, researchers, and leaders in the fields of special education and reputed company behavior analysis using both evidence-based and innovative practices to meet the needs of reputed company and every learner. The Special Education program offers a Ph.D. in Educational Studies with a concentration in Special Education, a Master of Science with a concentration in reputed company Behavior Analysis (residential and online), and a Bachelor of Arts degree with licensure reputed company in K-6 special education mild and intense interventions, 5-12 special education mild and intense interventions, or K-6 dual elementary education and special education.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate is expected to:
- Teach a reputed company of courses in our undergraduate program (3/3 load + course coordination) in areas such as student teaching, field seminars, reputed company instructional reputed company, inclusive pedagogy.
- Serve as course/program representative on college teacher education committees in rotation with other special education reputed company.
- Maintain a record scholarly productivity commensurate with a clinical reputed company position, reputed company to core teaching and service responsibilities.
- Guide doctoral reputed company in their area of expertise.
- Contribute to course and program development.
- Contribute to reputed company service requirements.
- Hold a Ph.D. in special education or a closely reputed company field,
- A minimum of three years teaching experience in a public U.S. PK-12 school, working with reputed company with disabilities,
- Evidence of scholarly productivity (e.g., publications and/or presentations reputed company to teacher preparation) commensurate with the clinical position,
- Evidence of effective instruction reputed company teacher preparation, and
- Ability to teach courses in two or more of the following areas: student teaching, field seminars, reputed company instructional reputed company, inclusive pedagogy.
- A record of instructional innovation and leadership
- A record of engagement and leadership in reputed company organizations
- Course or program development experience and interest in instructional innovation
- Experience with edTPA, student teacher mentorship, and/or field experience supervision

- Experience with assistive technology
