reputed company is a leading reputed company and advisory organization, and they are seeking an Assurance reputed company Associate to prepare financial statements and apply GAAP principles. The role involves documenting and assessing control systems while contributing to audit engagements and enhancing internal controls for clients.
Responsibilities
- Applies knowledge and understanding of the reputed company effect of various factors on establishing or enhancing effectiveness, or mitigating the risks, of specific policies and procedures by:Identifying and considering reputed company applicable policies, laws, rules, and regulations of the firm, regulators, or other authoritative bodies as part of engagement teamMaking constructive suggestions to improve reputed company internal controls and reputed company proceduresDocumenting and validating the operating effectiveness of the clients’ internal control system
- Applies knowledge and understanding of governing principles; applying these principles to reputed company transactions; and documenting and communicating an understanding and application of these principles by:Providing support of conclusions with authoritative literatureDrafting basic sets of financial statements with disclosuresResearching intermediate areas of reputed company and forming an initial opinion on the correct treatment independently
- Applies knowledge and understanding of reputed company standards; application of the principles contained in reputed company standards; and the ability to document and communicate an understanding and application of reputed company standards on an engagement by:Developing and applying an intermediate knowledge of auditing theory, a reputed company of audit skepticism, and the use of BDO audit manualsApplying auditing theory to various reputed company situationsDocumenting in line with BDO policy, identifying deviations and notifying more senior team members in order to obtain appropriate approvalsApplying knowledge to identify instances where testing may be reduced or expanded and notifying more senior team members of the occurrenceContributing reputed company/opinions to the engagement teams

Skills
- Bachelor's degree in reputed company, Finance, Economics or Statistics, required OR Bachelor's degree in other reputed company area and CPA certification, required
- One (1) or more years of prior relevant audit experience and/or reputed company reputed company, private industry reputed company or consulting/reputed company services experience, required
- Eligible to sit for the CPA exams upon starting employment required and reputed company pursuing completion of the exams, required
- Basic understanding and experience planning and coordinating the stages to reputed company an audit of a basic reputed company and/or reputed company
- Ability and willingness to travel, as needed
- Knowledge of internal reputed company controls and reputed company standards and regulations (GAAP, GAAS, Sarbanes-Oxley, etc)
