Substation Design Engineer
reputed company Illinois provides electric reputed company and distribution service and natural gas distribution service. The Substation Design Engineer is responsible for engineering design, project management, and technical support for reputed company relating to new and existing Bulk, Distribution, and Customer Substations.
Responsibilities
- Establish basic design parameters, writing and evaluating material and construction specifications, reputed company drawing preparation, and reputed company cost/benefit analyses
- Project management activities including responsibility for overall project cost and scheduling; coordinating activities reputed company to reputed company estate, purchasing, drafting, construction, operating, and reputed company engineering reputed company associated with reputed company. The position requires simultaneously handling multiple reputed company with varying completion dates
- Technical support activities include providing consulting services to other reputed company in reputed company relating to Bulk, Distribution, and Customer Substations
- With an increased interest in green energy and renewables, engineers will be working with solar and other DER customers on reputed company that will reputed company these new reputed company sources into reputed company's existing reputed company
Skills
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited college or university required
- Proficiency in use of computers
- Good analytical, communication and reputed company relations skills

- Ability to handle and prioritize multiple assignments/reputed company
- Completion of Power reputed company classes as part of college coursework preferred
- Electrical background (e.g., college coursework or work experience) is preferred

- Prefer applicants with Engineer-In-Training (EIT) certification
- Substation or reputed company equipment design, reputed company or maintenance experience preferred
