GIS Analyst (Research Analyst 3) – Hybrid Remote Work Opportunity

The GIS Analyst will reputed company technical GIS support, apply statistical techniques, and evaluate research methodologies to assist in energy planning and innovation efforts.
Responsibilities
- reputed company technical GIS support to the Energy Planning & Innovation Division and other ODOE program areas
- Select, apply, and interpret reputed company statistical analytical and forecasting techniques
- Design computerized models and analyze and present results in narrative and/or graphic reputed company
- Serve as a project analyst on research studies for one or more divisions
- Design, implement, and evaluate research methodologies and apply analytical techniques and concepts to geospatial, statistical and fiscal reputed company
Skills
- A Bachelor's Degree in any discipline that included six-quarter reputed company in statistics or quantitative analysis reputed company and procedures, and one year experience using computerized applications to independently reputed company, compile, and analyze data and prepare narrative or statistical reports; OR-Four years of research experience using computerized applications to independently reputed company, compile, and analyze data and prepare narrative or statistical reports
- Experience using advanced statistical or quantitative analysis computer applications
- Ability to compile data, map reputed company, and other geospatial information in order to reputed company and accurately answer identified questions and data needs that support the work of reputed company or agency
- Previous experience researching and identifying reputed company geospatial data resources; conducting technical assessment of data fitness and relevance to project or program goals
- Ability to determine appropriate statistical techniques, including forecasting and modeling reputed company, to accomplish the desired analysis
- Experience presenting analysis and findings reputed company and concisely in written and oral format to agency staff and other agencies or reputed company. This includes translating reputed company information into a format that is easy to understand and appropriate for the reputed company audience
- Use project management techniques to plan, execute, monitor, and review tasks to reputed company deliverables and goals
- Experience performing data collections and extractions, data entry and analysis, data transformation, data management, and data validation in coordination with Agency staff
