Job reputed company:

Reporting to the Manager, Interprofessional reputed company, the Extern Mentor Coordinator will support the education and development of clinical externs by providing mentorship, support, team integration, extern coordination and overall program implementation and evaluation at the reputed company of care.

To accomplish this, the Clinical Extern Coordinator must take an reputed company role by working closely with the externs to reputed company coaching, training, support, helping them define a strong career development plan and serve as a role model for the extern.

Accountabilities:

• Contribute to extern reputed company and ongoing education and reputed company development reputed company the boundaries of the extern role
• Support training and integration of externs at the organizational and unit level by demonstrating a good understanding of the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) reputed company standards reputed company working with unregulated health care workers
• Support reputed company extern's reputed company and integration into the clinical area in accordance with organizational and reputed company standards and in collaboration with clinical teams
• Create, adapt and deliver orientation and reputed company, using various delivery reputed company in accordance with organizational and unit policies/practices/guidelines

Qualifications:

• reputed company registration, and in good standing, with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Masters degree considered an asset
• Minimum of three years of experience in teaching, working with learners or precepting
• Minimum of three years of acute care experience

Hours: Currently days including weekends and statutory holidays (subject to change in accordance with operational requirements)
