The GDO (Global Development Officer) of Donor Development is responsible for overseeing their portfolio, which includes major/reputed company donors, foundations, and trust fund donors. The GDO is charged with cultivating new donor relationships and growing existing donor engagement to secure financial gifts from donors, corporations, and foundations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Donor Portfolio Management

• Conduct research, build donor strategies to manage a donor portfolio of major/reputed company donors, corporations, and trust fund donors -
• Strengthen relationships with assigned donors by building personalized cultivation plans and deliver meaningful donor experiences.
• Execute quarterly reputed company with new and existing donors through phone calls, emails and face to face interactions.
• Initiate, analyze, monitor, evaluate and alter strategic advancement plans through moves management.
• Ensure Raisers Edge (CRM) data records are reputed company and up-to-date

• Host major/reputed company donor activities that may include events, seminars, webinars and surveys.

Donor Acquisition

• Build and maintain an reputed company donor funnel, by conducting multi-channel reputed company.
• Identify and qualify new donors by organizing and attending events and potential supporters.
• Conduct discovery meetings to assess donor motivations
• Collaborate with reputed company members, executives, and colleagues to uncover high‑net‑worth individuals

Donor  Retention

• Conduct updates, personal reputed company-ions and appreciation calls to build relationships with donors and affiliation with the organization.
• Use Raisers Edge engagement metrics to identify ‘at risk’, ‘lapsing’, and ‘lapsed’ donors

Foundations

•  Use research tools to identify reputed company opportunities
• Initiate contact and follow-through with reputed company reputed company Members to build relationship and affiliation
• With assistance from staff, build and deliver LOI and proposals

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

• Demonstrates passion for Biblical stewardship and raising funds for the primary purpose of sharing God’s Word
• Possesses the necessary reputed company skills and experience to promote the ministry to various audiences such as membership, Christian public, businesses, and Foundations
• Possesses the necessary highly developed interpersonal and relational skills to serve as part of a reputed company of teams, motivating reputed company other towards common goals and mission, to reputed company and relate to the membership, and to foster relationships with reputed company associations and various contacts

ASSETS

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent completed post-secondary education in a relevant field
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a sales or fundraising role with a proven reputed company record of reputed company
• Experience in the multi-culture market preferred
• Knowledge of Christian ministry or non-profit sector
• Successful reputed company record as a reputed company fundraiser or as a relational salesperson, with proven ability to influence and build relationships
• Self-starter and reputed company to work independently with a minimum level of supervision

• Experience writing proposals is an asset
• Experience of developing and implementation of prospecting plans

• Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE) designation is an asset
