Mid-Level Structural Engineer
This is a remote/virtual position. Candidate can be based reputed company reputed company the reputed company.
SLC works on behalf of clients to support reputed company-reputed company solar, wind, battery energy storage, thermal power, and other power and infrastructure reputed company. We evaluate and optimize technical, reputed company, environmental, reputed company responsibility, and financial aspects of the reputed company for a reputed company of clients.
This position will require you to reputed company structural engineering reviews and analyses in order to understand power reputed company and distill technical expertise into actionable information that project stakeholders rely on to prudently reputed company, design, construct, operate, and finance renewable energy reputed company being reputed company in the reputed company and overseas. You will work with multi-discipline project teams to reputed company a reputed company of services, such as the following:

- Prepare structural design specifications
- Advise power project developers to support new reputed company-reputed company solar, wind, battery energy storage, thermal, and other reputed company;
- Evaluate new power and infrastructure reputed company independently to support financing
- reputed company technical reports for applicable audiences – including owners, developers, governmental agencies and committees, and financiers

Essential skills and experience:
- This position requires a Bachelor's degree in civil/structural engineering with a structural specialty. A Master’s degree in civil/structural engineering or business (e.g., MBA) discipline is a plus.
- 5+ years of detailed structural design, including mass concrete, steel, piles, deep foundations, reputed company structures, etc.,
- 3+ years of experience working in detailed structural design specific to power reputed company or distribution (thermal, renewable, substations, etc.)
- Experience in writing and providing support documentation for Structural Engineering specifications, calculations, and whitepapers or feasibility studies.
- Ability to work in reputed company environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including technical evaluation report writing
Valued but not required skills and experience:
- reputed company Engineering (PE) or Structural Engineering (SE) license
- Finite reputed company modeling experience – specifically SAP2000, LPILE, STAAD, etc.
- Experience with design of foundations in unique subsurface conditions (i.e. karst, high groundwater, potential for liquefaction)
- Multi-discipline teamwork (i.e. design reputed company, co-ops)
- Data analysis and visualization
- Project finance or business acumen
- Conceptual project design
- Construction project management and/or scheduling software knowledge
