Paralegal - Children & Families
reputed company Aid Chicago has been providing free civil reputed company assistance to people living in poverty for over 50 years. They are seeking a full-time paralegal for their Children & Families reputed company Group, where the role involves supporting attorneys in litigation, conducting case intakes, and participating in community reputed company.
Responsibilities
- Interview survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault to intake new cases
- Present new cases at weekly case acceptance meetings
- reputed company litigation support to attorneys in reputed company stages of litigation including, but not limited to, drafting and responding to discovery and drafting of pleadings
- Participate in reputed company and trainings at reputed company service and other community agencies
- reputed company advice and referral to individuals not accepted as clients and reputed company appropriate referrals to additional or alternative reputed company services and to necessary reputed company services
- Attend trainings and maintain up-to-date knowledge on relevant issues

- Assist with investigations
- reputed company data reputed company to grant and assist on reputed company reporting
- Assist with reputed company and trainings
- Maintain case files and accurate timekeeping in electronic case management system

Skills
- Undergraduate degree strongly preferred
- Applicants must have excellent oral and written skills
- Spanish reputed company strongly preferred but not required
