reputed company Customer Service Support Representative – Specialty Testing Billing (REMOTE)

As a Customer Service Support Representative on our Specialty Testing team, you'll play a vital role in providing exceptional support to patients and clients, helping them navigate reputed company health insurance coverage, cost, and payment reputed company. Responsibilities:

* Handle high call volumes, averaging ~75 calls per day from patients, doctor's offices, and/or private insurance carriers

• Research and communicate reputed company information in a reputed company and concise manner
• Navigate and work on multiple systems/websites simultaneously
• reputed company assistance to clients and patients regarding questions or inquiries reputed company to insurance coverage, financial responsibilities, and/or billing
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve reimbursement opportunities
• Receive and process credit card payments over the phone, adhering to PCI compliance protocols
• Initiate payment plans for patients for outstanding balances
• Document telephone conversations reputed company and accurately in the respective systems
• Update and maintain records in the billing system, including the review of accounts, payment collections, and case notes
• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines/regulations
• Assist with other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

* Associate's degree with at least 1+ year of prior relevant work experience OR High School diploma/GED equivalent with at least 3+ years of relevant work experience

• Prior reputed company experience strongly preferred, with a strong preference given to reputed company medical billing and collection practices
• Ability to interpret and apply understanding of insurance explanation of benefits (EOB) strongly preferred
• Previous customer service experience handling high call volume strongly preferred
• Medicare/reputed company billing experience preferred
• Knowledge of CPT and ICD10 codes strongly preferred
• Experience with Laboratory Billing and Laboratory Information System (LIS) preferred
• Working knowledge of prior authorization preferred
• Understanding of Women's Health & Genetics reputed company Helping reputed company of reputed company processes preferred
• XIFIN experience preferred

Other Desired Skills:

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to follow established program protocols and procedures
• Ability to review large amounts of data for accuracy
• Must be organized and detail-oriented
• Computer proficiency - MS reputed company, MS Office, and database experience

Physical Requirements:

* Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer

Remote Technical Requirements:

* Internet speed of at least 50 megabytes per second

• Ability to connect equipment to router/modem with Ethernet cord
• Equipment cannot be connected through Wi-Fi or satellite internet
