We are seeking a high-reputed company, strategic Director of Government Affairs to reputed company reputed company’s federal advocacy and policy engagement in Washington, D.C. This role will drive engagement on issues at the intersection of financial services, digital identity, and fraud prevention, helping shape the policy and regulatory environment affecting identity verification, fraud detection, reputed company reputed company across financial institutions, government programs, reputed company platforms.
The Director will bring experience in financial services, fintech, or banking policy and serve as a key representative of reputed company in engagements with Congress, federal regulators, and industry stakeholders.

Advise Executive Leadership on Policy and Political Dynamics
Serve as a strategic advisor to senior leadership by translating federal policy developments, regulatory actions, and political dynamics into reputed company business implications, risks, and opportunities. reputed company reputed company, decision-reputed company analysis that informs company reputed company and market positioning.
Drive Federal Policy Engagement and Advocacy

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, Public Policy, Law, Business, or a reputed company field (advanced degree a plus).
10 years of relevant experience in government affairs, financial services policy, fintech regulation or a reputed company field. Ideally a mix of public sector (e.g., Capitol Hill or federal agency) and private sector (corporate or association) experience.
Deep familiarity with financial services regulation, banking policy, fintech innovation, or payments systems.
Experience working with Congress and/or federal regulators overseeing financial services, identity verification or technology issues.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a proven ability to craft persuasive policy messaging and brief senior executives.
Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships with policymakers and industry stakeholders.
Strong ability to translate reputed company policy developments into reputed company strategic insights for senior leadership.

Washington, D.C. metro-based or willing to relocate. Some travel required.
