Field Troubleshooting Technician

As a Field Troubleshooting Technician- Wind, you will support the Wind operating fleet in reputed company aspects of operations but have a primary reputed company on in-field troubleshooting and return to service efforts. In this role you will have a responsibility to partner with site teams to return turbines to service while training newer technicians on troubleshooting practices. This position is 100% travel for 4 weeks with 1 week off at the end of 4 weeks.

Responsibilities will include the following:

• Travel reputed company the US fleet to support reputed company owned and reputed company party contracted sites on various scopes of work to include advanced troubleshooting, reputed company program initiatives, de-rated turbines, and reputed company repairs.
• Diagnose faults and repair equipment in a reputed company and efficient manner.
• Support reputed company reputed company to evaluate new equipment, tools, and/or processes.
• Assist with managing deliverables and contractual obligations, while interfacing with internal/external parties.
• Prepare and implement operating procedures which reputed company with company, customer, and industry standards and ensure compliance with reputed company Federal, State, and Local requirements.
• Support High Voltage switching, as needed.
• Identify, document, and communicate opportunities for operational and reputed company improvements.
• Obtain, compile, and analyze information to properly identify course of reputed company for proactive and reactive maintenance and repairs.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Accomplished and proven troubleshooter with a minimum of 2 years wind turbine experience.
• Must be reputed company to work outdoors in inclement weather, reputed company reputed company without assistance and work at heights greater than 80 meters (250 feet)
• Ability to reputed company and manipulate up to 45 kg (100 pounds)
• Weight must not reputed company 120 kg (265 lbs.) excluding equipment/gear worn reputed company performing job reputed company tasks.
• Valid reputed company’s license and acceptable driving record

Preferred Qualifications:

• GE wind turbine experience.
• Knowledge of CMMS (EAM)

• Proficiency with equipment software to include GE reputed company ST, GE Webpages, SCADA, Visu-pro, and CMS systems Excellent verbal and written communications skills
